When People Are New to a Place

hehehehe............this is again a hillarous one. I dedicate this to my Bhai. I am sure when he reads this, he will be able to point out the incident at that very moment.

I don't remember the exact date, but the function was one of the recent ones. All the relatives had come and we were all enjoying.

My Bhai and I were sitting in the bedroom and were having a great time as usual. Suddenly an elder, which I don't want to name, came and started chatting with us. The topics were very common. And then suddenly a question was popped--"Ithe BP(Bharat Petrolium) kuthe ahe? Tithe kay changla milta?".
I have never heard of such a question being asked so innocently and so calmly. This is what happens When People Are New to a Place. I then looked at my bro and he looked at me. I was just about to burst into laughter when my bro interrupted and said, "tithle moti prasiddh ahet.". Now that was one more reason for me to laugh. Although I tried to control but could not. But then I left the room immediately thus avoiding insult by laughing at an elder. My brother soon followed me.

After sometime we were sitting in the living room when the same person asked me about my career interests. I started telling about the exam I appeared and the colleges I am interested in. As soon as I finished, the person said,"te ek panvel la pun ahe na.". Now that was something I simply could not stand. I got up from there after sometime and told about it to my Bhai. And then we laughed like we have not in the last ten years.

Whenever we meet, we still remember the incidents and share a great moment.
